Underlining its commitment to road safety, Fox Brothers Holdings UK has invested more than £500,000 in AI dash cams from Samsara. The group has installed the equipment across its HGV and van fleets operated by Fox Brothers Lancashire, Hurt Plant Hire, and JJ O’Grady's Civils.
It took around two-and-a-half months to kit out more than 250 vehicles in the group with the AI dash cams. The new equipment will offer insights on driver behaviour with real-time data and analytics. This will enable Fox Brothers Holdings UK to offer additional training for drivers to improve safety and best practices to enhance road safety and protect the company’s reputation out on the road.
Simon Colderley, transport compliance manager at Fox Brothers UK said: "The safety of our drivers and members of the public is paramount. By integrating Samsara AI dash cams into our fleet, we are taking a proactive step towards ensuring the highest of safety standards. This investment not only underscores our commitment to road safety but also positions us as a leader in responsible commercial vehicle operations."
The Samsara AI dash cam can issue real-time safety alerts, automatically detect an incident and report on driver behaviour. Fleet managers can use this information to implement regular driver training to reduce the risk of accidents.
