French fishermen blockade Calais - again

Despite a halt being called to blockades at the Port of Calais last week, French fishermen have once again taken up their positions to bring disruption to cross-Channel ferries.

The move is likely to mean a return of queues on the M20 as Operation Stack is reintroduced.

Hauliers were already fearing that their French counterparts could strike and cause disruption, but will now have to deal with the consequences of further action by the fishermen.
