Thomas Hardie Commercials (Trafford Park) has supplied two new Volvo FM-330 6x2 rear-steer rear end loaders to Manchester-based recycling and waste management firm Fresh Start Waste Services.

The 3.9m wheelbase FMs, which feature 11-litre diesel engines rated at 330hp and I-Shift automated gearboxes, come with seven-year Gold R&M contracts. They also include Volvo's load indicator, medium height chassis for improved ground clearance and Farid T23 rear-loading compactor bodywork.

The waste collection trucks join the operator’s fleet of 30, collecting trade and commercial waste from businesses across North West England. One of the vehicles is named after World Arm Wrestling Champion Agy Gorzynska who Fresh Start Waste Services has sponsored for the past three years.

Chief operating officer at Fresh Start Waste Services, Peter Cooke said: "Volvo is a proven, reliable product and we have had good service from the dealer, Thomas Hardie Commercials.”
