Three UK operators have taken delivery of a batch of full-electric trucks for real world trials around London.

Parcel company DPD will be taking two of the first examples of the Fuso eCanter, with two more going to Hovis.

The biggest operator will be Wincanton, which is going to be trialling five of the 7.5-tonner box vans.

The e-Canters will be undergoing normal duties so that they can be assessed against existing diesel powered vehicles, as series production is ramped up during the year.

All except the Cartwright-bodied example for DPD have bodies by Bevan Group.
