Garmin has launched its latest range of truck sat navs, which are compatible with its blind-spot camera to improve road safety.
The dezl 570 (pictured) and dezl 770 sat navs feature 5- and 7-inch displays respectively and incorporate features including the ability to find truck parking, weighbridges and hotels.
The sat navs are compatible with its BC 30 Backup camera, which provides a live video feed showing the driver what is going on at the back of the vehicle. If wired up to the rear lights for power, the display will automatically switch to a live feed of the back of the truck when it is in reverse gear. The BC Backup camera is sold separately.
Thiemo Weinschenk, Garmin EMEA head of product management, said: “The new dezl 570 and 770 are designed to meet the needs of truckers and address the unique challenges they face on the road.
“The new dezl not only provides truck-specific routes and intuitive directions, but also offer additional functionality, such as specific points of interest and backup camera support. ”
The dezl 770 has a suggested retail price of £379 and the dezl 570 has a recommended retail price of £319.
