My favourite holiday destination is…
Minorca, with its quiet and peaceful beaches and superb restaurants.

I drive a…
BMW 3 Series.

My hobbies are…
Golf - I have been a member of a club for more than 20 years - and I am also a season ticket holder at Birmingham City FC.

My favourite TV programme is…
Only Fools and Horses.

The celebrity I would most like to meet is…
If he was still alive, Oliver Reed.

How did you get into the industry and why?
At school, my best mate and I were given a choice of either starting an apprenticeship or joining the armed services. He chose the navy and I took up a mechanic’s apprenticeship.

To encourage more young people into the industry we should…
Make more apprenticeships available. Also, the industry needs to bang the drum about the attractive long-term careers that are available.

The outlook for our sector of the market over the next 12 months is…
Looking to continue with the growth of the Isuzu franchise. Next year will be exciting, with the arrival of new models, which will allow us to increase our market share. Contrary to the forecasts, the 7.5-tonne market continues to be a successful one for the Isuzu brand in the UK.

Aquila Isuzu is different from the competition because…
We go the extra distance to support our customers, ensuring we keep their vehicles on the road, quickly and efficiently.
