GMA Warehousing acquires first MANs

GMA Warehousing and Transport has acquired MANs for the first time, taking seven used TGX 26.440 XLX tractor units through the manufacturer’s TopUsed programme.

The haulier has added the 2012-registered trucks to its Ipswich- and Felixstowe-based fleet on two-year, £249-per week contract hire deals.

The trucks come with tax, repair and maintenance contracts, telematics packages and 103-point inspections.

Alan Clark, MAN sales executive, worked on the deal with Gary Stannett, branch aftersales manager at MAN Truck & Bus Felixstowe. He said: “GMA is a conquest customer for MAN and has previously only bought one other marque.”

Bennett said GMA is looking forward to working with MAN on this deal.
