Crossroads Truck and Bus has supplied North Lincolnshire-based agricultural services company Keyo with a new Volvo FH 500 6x2 tractor unit with golden anniversary livery.

The FH, coupled to a new Krone Dry Liner box trailer, is being used to carry three new Combilift RT forklift trucks and support equipment associated with bio-security at farms. Keyo, a leading supplier to the poultry processing industry across the UK, operates 16 tractor units, 10 of them FH 500 6x2s.

One of the side panels on the latest cab features an anniversary version of the Keyo cockerel motif - a giant red, black and gold cockerel formed from the numerals 2017. The truck is on a top level, Volvo Gold R&M contract with Uptime Guarantee.

Joint Keyo MD Mark van den Bos said: “We have run Volvo trucks for over 30 years of the 50 we have been in business, and have had an excellent experience with them. We are drawn to their reliability, focus on safety and the back-up from the dealer network.

“We have taken the Uptime Guarantee since its introduction with the latest FH in 2013, but a testament to the reliability of the FH is the fact that we have never had to use it.”
