What is your favourite holiday destination and why?
The Algarve. We’ve taken our family holiday there for the last five years and always come home happy after plenty of sun, food and a few glasses of wine.

What car do you drive?
A BMW 1 Series automatic.

What are your hobbies?
I am a season ticket holder at Everton FC and I also run an under-7s football team which my son is in. I’m also partial to a bit of cooking and baking.

What’s your favourite TV programme?
Game of Thrones.

What celebrity would you most like to meet?
Donald Trump. It would be an interesting half an hour if he walked through your door.

How did you get into the industry and why?
Following university, I was accepted on to the Enterprise Rent-a-Car graduate scheme. It’s a fantastic programme and it taught me what I needed to know about the business and also fed me through the management scheme, which enabled me to progress quite quickly. I worked my way to becoming a regional manager there before moving across to Goodyear for a new challenge.

What will be the outlook for the commercial vehicle tyre market over the next 12 months?
It will be about giving fleets more data to provide the next level of savings to lower ownership costs even further. We have launched Proactive Solutions that provides transport companies with unique predictive technology for fleet management, helping them to improve performance and reduce operating costs.

What makes Goodyear different from everyone else?
Our focus is on technical development across our products and services, ensuring we deliver the lowest cost of ownership to fleet customers.
