Graham Churchill Plant celebrates anniversary with golden Scania tipper

Graham Churchill Plant is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a one-off Scania with a golden cab.

Fitted with a lightweight Charlton Superlite body, the truck has a payload of 19 tonnes and will work on short-haul operations in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The truck is the 50th new Scania Churchill has bought, and director Karen Henson said it meets the firm’s ideal tipper spec: “The trucks we want have to be strong and tough enough to handle any job we put them to while still delivering a top-class payload.

Charlton’s exceptionally durable SuperLite body has proven itself the ideal complement to the Scania chassis.”
