Wiltshire-based tool hire company Artisan Hire Centre has taken delivery of two new 7.5 tonne Isuzu Forward N75.190 rigids.

The pair, supplied by Greenmeadow Commercial Services, feature beavertail plant bodies built by AG Bracey, Bristol, and include cab mounted winches. Artisan Hire Centre, which operates eight depots between Oxford, Basingstoke and Bristol, provides customers with tool and small plant hire.

The vehicles, which work out of the company’s Swindon depot, are expected to have a working life of four years, and cover 30,000 miles per year.

Chris Comers, MD, Artisan Hire Centre, which has a fleet of 30 trucks, said: “Our previous successful experience of running Isuzus meant that we were more than happy to specify the Isuzu marque again for this new vehicle acquisition programme.”
