Three employees at West Bromwich-based Iveco dealer Guest Truck and Van have chalked up nearly 150 years’ combined service at the business.

Peter Harvey (right), began his career at 15 as an assistant in the parts department and now works part-time in a parts marketing role. Receptionist Sue Timmins also started at the company in 1965. Sales administration manager Gerry Connor (left) has been working at Guest for 45 years. He started as an apprentice mechanic before moving into sales and was made sales manager in 1980.

Operations MD Rob Spittle said: “It is testament to the Guest ethos that so many people have dedicated so many years of their life to working here, and our longevity also attracts the new talent coming through as they are able to be led and nurtured in their careers by some of the best people in this industry.”
