H B Clark increases fleet with next gen DAFs

H B Clark has taken delivery of a new generation DAF XF tractor unit and three DAF LF curtainsiders.

The wholesale beverage supplier is renewing and expanding its fleet and has six additional LFs on order from North West Trucks Huyton.

The fleet is now 100% DAF but the new DAF XF is the company’s first from the new generation of DAF trucks. The high roof sleeper cab has been painted in H B Clark colours and gets a kerb view window in the passenger door, DAF digital vision system, automatic climate control and DAF infotainment system. There’s also wireless phone charging, a cinema passenger seat with table, alcoa alloy wheels, twin fuel tanks and extra-long catwalk.

The DAF LF 16t 4x2 curtainsider was completed in conjunction with Tekbo Ltd in Glasgow and has a 6415mm long body and a bespoke load restraint system engineered by Tekbo to H B Clark’s specification.
