H Wiggall & Sons to be wound up

Gloucestershire-based H Wiggall & Sons owed creditors nearly £123,714. when it entered a voluntary liquidation process last month.

The Stroud haulier appointed joint liquidators Jason Elliott and Craig Johns of Cowgill Holloway Business Recovery in Manchester on 28 November.

At this point it owed an estimated £30,621 in VAT and £10,625 in PAYE to HMRC. Other significant creditors included the Right Fuelcard Company, which was owed nearly £8,000; NWF Fuels, which was owed £1,025; and Be Fuelcards, which was owed £1,459.

According to the liquidator's statement of affairs report at Companies House, the haulage firm faces a shortfall of £29,141 in regards meeting its obligations to creditors.

H Wiggall & Sons has an O-licence to run eight vehicles and four trailers.

Cowgill Holloway Business Recovery was unavailable for comment.
