Haulage accountant faces court hearing for stealing charge

An accountant charged with stealing £350,000 from Czech Logistics Alliance (UK) is to appear before Leicester Crown Court.

Paul Robinson, of Overdale Close, Market Harborough, is charged with theft and forgery from the Kibworth, Leicester-shire-based haulage firm and must appear on 2 September for a plea and case management hearing. If he pleads guilty, he will be sentenced; if he pleads not guilty, he will be sent for trial.

This follows an appearance at Market Harborough and Lutterworth Magistrates' Court on 15 July. Czech Logistics Alliance specialises in European freight movements.
