Helldrivers: back on the big screen

Helldrivers, the classic movie where Stanley Baker tries to beat Patrick McGoohan's record of 18 deliveries a day for Hawlett Trucking, is back on the big screen for one day only.

On Sunday 5 December, the London and south-east area of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society will screen the film in Vista Vision at the Everyman cinema in Oxted, Surrey.

The screening will include a supporting programme of vintage advertisements, trailers and a short film.

Tickets cost £6 on the door.

Culina renews cheesy deal

Culina Logistics has renewed its storage and distribution contract with cheese-maker The Wensleydale Creamery for a further three years. Adding to an existing six-year partnership, Market Drayton-based Culina will continue to collect cheese from the Hawes, North Yorks facility of The Wensleydale Creamery.

Argos improves payload with Isuzu trucks and Bevan bodies

Argos has bought 25 new Isuzu 7.5-tonne trucks and 100 aerodynamic demountable boxes from the Bevan Group, which improve payload by 500kg when combined. The Isuzu N75 Forward trucks, the first on the Argos fleet, have been added because they are around 300kg lighter than the DAF LF truck that dominates the fleet.
