Hermes has won a three-year home delivery contract with retailer Store Twenty One for its new online venture.

Parcel carrier Hermes will collect orders placed online from Store Twenty One's Solihull, West Midlands warehouse, and transport them to its own Nuneaton DC to consolidate orders. Goods will then be delivered to customers via Hermes' regional depot network.

The 48-hour service will initially cover ladies and children's fashion lines, but will be extended to meanswear and homeware by the end of the year.

Rishi Bubna, management executive at the retailer, which operates 200 UK stores, says: "We are committed to growing the e-commerce element of our business, so we are working with industry-leading partners such as Hermes to ensure this is a success."

The win comes after Hermes scooped an 8-year home delivery contract with Next earlier this year.
