Howard Tenens is building its eighth depot after purchasing 15 acres of land in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire. The privately-owned logistics firm also runs a property development business, so is able to build the new depot itself, which is scheduled to be fully operational by year end.

The site, formerly owned by Granada TV, will complement the firm's current distribution depots in: Andover, Boston, London, Manchester, Sharpness, Stroud and Swindon, and will provide warehousing and office space totalling 150,000ft2. Howard Tenens runs 200 vehicles and says it is projected to turn over £75m this year.
