HRVS has acquired the business and properties of MAN and Isuzu franchisee Beeches Garage (1983), based in Stoke-on-Trent, in a multi-million-pound deal.
According to HRVS - which operates MAN dealerships and provides aftersales and parts of all makes for customers in central and north east England - Beeches will fit perfectly into its portfolio.
HRVS says a Kässbohrer trailer sales and aftersales function will be the first element of its business to be added to the site.
The deal makes HRVS, which has a head office in Ripley near Derby as well as depots in Bardon, Nottingham, Sheffield and Scunthorpe, the largest MAN private capital dealer in the UK.
Keith Sims, group operations director at HRVS, said the company intends to develop the Stoke-on-Trent facility in a manner that is similar to the way it has grown other group sites.
Sims said: “Beeches has had a terrific guardian for the last 33 years with Barry Davey and we will continue to grow the relationships with customers built up over the years. The site will grow and will be a powerful partner to operators in the area with HRVS’s own
unique style.”
