Daf dealer group Imperial Commercials has opened a 3,600 ft² truck, trailer and van all-makes parts store in Buxton offering a half-an-hour delivery service for stock items.

The Imperial Truck and Trailer TRP Shop, based on the Harpur Hill Business Park, is a satellite of the dealer’s branch in Mackworth, Derby and has a stock holding of £130,000 as well as a fleet of new vans.

Wayne Staley, dealer principal and formerly regional parts manager, said Imperial Commercials invested £45,000 developing an existing building to create the store and there is further capacity to expand.

“Not only will the site benefit from the availability of 75,000 TRP parts, but also from the £10m group stock available from the overnight service with next day delivery”, he added.

Buxton is the first Imperial Commercials TRP Shop and the eleventh to open in the UK and Ireland.

Last June Lancashire Daf opened a 2,700 ft² TRP trailer and all-makes parts shop in Bolton while in October Ford and Slater introduced a dedicated parts store with an extensive stock of TRP all makes parts at the site of Daf service agent FW Abbott in Kettering.

Daf said more satellite TRP facilities are in the pipeline.
