Integrated Tanker Services (ITS) is returning to the tanker rental business. The Walsall-based company will have 25 rental tankers in its fleet by the end of May and plans to increase the total to 50 by the end of this year.

ITS will offer tankers from manufacturers Magyar, Maisonneuve, Van Hool and Road Tankers Northern to operators in the foodstuffs, chemicals, fuel and oil sectors.

MD Stephen Hardwick told CM: “My father set up the business more than 40 years ago. However, after he died three years ago, we sold the rental side to TIP and concentrated on sales. Now, under the terms of that sale, we are coming back into the market.”

ITS’s sales division includes new tankers for immediate delivery, as well as second-hand. It also carries out tanker repairs and fittings in its four-bay workshop.

Hardwick said: “We have built up an extensive knowledge of the tanker market and developed strong relations with the manufacturers. This has allowed us to identify potential enhancements for customers.”
