Southampton-based IPL Haulage has expanded its fleet with two new Daf trucks.

The new Daf  XF105s are the first new trucks the firm has bought in its 20 year history, taking its total fleet size to 27 vehicles.

Director Ian Percival told CM.com that the firm has always run Daf trucks, and has a very good relationship with the local Daf dealership. The new vehicles will be used for general and containerised haulage in and around the Southampton area, where most of its business comes from.

The firm began 20 years ago with just one truck. It previously operated tippers, but is now operating a fleet of artics.

Percival said that the firm hopes to expand its fleet further in 2013.
