An Isuzu Truck UK employee who appeared on Channel 4’s Undercover Boss TV programme three years ago has now completed her management training after moving up the ranks within the company.
Vicki Lepley (pictured), who worked in the parts delivery department at Hoddeston Truck Centre when the programme first aired in 2011, now works in the manufacturer’s repair and maintenance department as a repair and maintenance administrator.
During filming, she caught the eye of former Isuzu Truck UK MD Nikki King, who decided to mentor Lepley after seeing her use her initiative when delivering parts.
Lepley, who’s ambition was to work towards a management role, took up the position of operations assistant at Isuzu Truck UK six months after the TV programme. She has since received a number of internal promotions.

Lepley said: “It’s a fast- growing area of our business and I’ve now completed my management training. Doing the Undercover Boss programme completely turned my world upside down and career wise it gave me an amazing opportunity.”
King added: “We have always had a policy at Isuzu Truck UK to develop talented women and that’s why so many of the senior management are female. Vicki is a great asset to the company and she will just continue to go from strength to strength.”
The programme re-aired at 10am today (5 September).
