Isuzu Truck (UK) returns to RTX as the market leader in the UK 7.5-tonne sector. “This time last year we were number two overall, but we finished the year in the top spot,” says head of sales, product and marketing Stuart Beeton. “It’s an achievement that we are all incredibly proud of.”
Beeton notes a growing number of UK operators are realising the truck’s numerous benefits. “Take this N75.150 for tipper for example, you can put 3.6 tonnes on the back of it. Plus, it has a small footprint, good turning circle, and is durable and reliable.”
Isuzu Truck (UK) currently offers vehicles in the 3.5 to 13.5-tonne sectors, but Beeton reveals that within a few years it could also have an 18-tonne offering. “We have been lobbying our colleagues in Japan for a while. I think we will potentially get one in the next few years. But we will only bring it in if it is right for UK customers.”
