Isuzu Truck (UK) says it has improved management of its maintenance and repair services by migrating to a new management system from r2c Online.

Along with using the main r2c Online platform, Isuzu has now integrated issue2invoice (i2i) throughout its dealer network - a web-based pricing, authorisation and invoicing system, launched at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show.

Tony Parker, Isuzu repair and maintenance manager, said i2i simplifies management of annual distances, PMI frequency and servicing needs of its customers, combining all requirements under one system.

He explained: “i2i has allowed Isuzu to incorporate and keep up to date, all parts files along with labour time guides, which has helped structure servicing and repair jobs for the dealers.

“The ability, in real time, to monitor from receipt of vehicle right through to invoice payment and measure individual vehicle costs against a plan is a very welcome benefit.

“We needed electronic safety inspection and service paperwork that could be with customers within minutes of being signed off, as well as a more robust system for forward planning of all compliance responsibilities.”
