Isuzu Truck North London has moved to a new 7,000ft² site in Hoddesdon, Herts, with an R&M workshop for 12 vehicles. The facility, based on the Rawmec Business Park, also has MoT and tacho bays, a parts department and a fleet of mobile service and parts vehicles.
George Smith (pictured), sales director at the Isuzu Truck main dealer, said the site has better access to the M25 motorway and A10 than the company’s previous yard in Enfield.
“The move to these new premises affords us a much bigger site to work from and we are looking to grow our share of the market in this area over the next few years,” he said.
“To highlight the current range of Isuzu trucks, we now have available a range of demonstration vehicles across the whole range based at the site for customer appraisal.”
. Meanwhile, Tolchards Drinks has added its first Isuzu trucks to its distribution fleet of 27 vehicles. The two 7.5-tonne Forward N75.190 manual rigids were supplied by Isuzu dealer T Harvey and Sons in Redruth, Cornwall and have been fitted with sliding curtainsider bodies.
The vehicles are working from Tolchards branches in Petersfield, Hampshire, and Bridgewater, Somerset.
