Isuzu Truck UK's 13.5-tonne F135.240 proves popular at Road Transport Expo

Isuzu Truck UK, which last year celebrated 25 years in the UK, said its F135.240 attracted a lot of attention at last week's Road Transport Expo held at NAEC Stoneleigh.

The 13.5-tonner, which was fitted with a PPS Commercials curtain-sided body and a day cab, has a 7.4-tonne payload.

Last year the manufacturer sold 200 F-Series, a mix of 13.5 and 11 tonners.

Also featuring on its stand were a pair of N75 7.5-tonners.

Isuzu is currently UK market leader in all 7.5-tonne sectors, excepting boxes and curtainsiders.

In 2022 the truck maker is forecast to double the unit sales achieved in 2021, itself a record year.
