Haulier Malcolm Stevens has bought a used truck as a retirement present for himself from the new Gloucester branch of Mercedes-Benz dealer Rygor. Stevens, director at Evesham-based M R & S Stevens Transport, attended the open day for the launch of the dealership in September and bought the approved used 2545 LS GigaSpace Actros.
His wife Sue said: “Even though he has stepped away from day-to-day activity at the company, he still thought our drivers would enjoy the vehicle and the business would benefit.” Jeremy Price, fleet truck sales manager at Rygor Gloucester, said: “I am delighted that the first truck sale handover at our new branch in Gloucester was to Sue and Malcolm.”
