Iveco authorised repairer to be replaced in Aberdeen

Iveco is appointing a new authorised repairer for the Aberdeen area after AM Phillip Trucktech announced it is closing its site.

In January, AM Phillip Trucktech sent a letter to all 35 staff at the depot in Auchmill Road, Bucksburn, saying it had considered all possible options but had decided to cease all operational activities at the site.

The branch has suffered from a drop in both servicing and parts sales for Iveco vehicles, the loss of its Isuzu franchise to another dealer and contract losses. AM Phillip Trucktech also has facilities in Conon Bridge, Dingwall, Dundee, Edinburgh, Forfar and Glenrothes.

An Iveco spokesperson said: “We are working with the management of AM Phillip Trucktech to ensure a seamless transition of the Iveco franchise to a new authorised repairer, providing Iveco customers with a continued service in and around the Aberdeen area.”
