With construction on the up and 18 tonners thin on the ground, this truck of the week is a no-brainer – an Iveco Eurocargo tipper.
Operators have been hoovering up used construction vehicles as fast as they appear. Demand has been strong for vehicles to be the wheels on the ground for both short and long-term projects.
Supply has been a different matter. Three to four years ago most fleet buyers were lacking the confidence it took to invest. However, rental did pick up some slack and vendor Leeds Commercial has been busy upgrading rolling stock, freeing up some older vehicles.
This truck is a 2010-registered Eurocargo Euro-5 180E25, fitted with a Thompsons insulated body with tarmac sheets. Its wider specification includes a manual transmission, day cab, and dual passenger seat.
It is fitted with a reversing camera, towing equipment and flashing beacons for work on-site. It has covered 111,000kms from new and has a 9,740kg payload.
Leeds Commercial has owned and maintained it from new and it comes with full-service history.
