Thieves steal Stobart truck with drinks haul
Thieves have stolen an Eddie Stobart lorry with £40,000 worth of wine and spirits on board. The group broke into the company's site in Holytown, Lanarkshire last Sunday and took the truck. It was later recovered on the road between Carnwath and Forth, while the trailer was found abandoned near Falkirk, minus its cargo of drink. A £5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the thieves.
