Northern Ireland haulier J Adams Transport and Sons has taken delivery of its first MAN - a TGX 26.480 6x2/2 BLS - following a successful trial with a demonstrator.
The vehicle, supplied on contract hire, comes with XXL sleeper cab, air management kit, 6-cylinder 12.4 litre engine, and drives through a Tipmatic 12-speed gearbox. It will do runs across to Carlisle and Cumbernauld about three times a week.
MAN sales executive Mark Lennox, who supplied the demonstrator said: “The fact that the customer has a set cost for the vehicle each month is certainly an attractive prospect for any haulier.”
