A road trip to Provence - you can holiday at your own pace with everything you need on arrival, from beaches and the countryside to huge supermarkets. All with the guarantee of sunshine.

Spending time with the family. Most weekends involve walking between country pubs and attempting to tame the garden.

Why did you get into the industry?
It was an opportunity I stumbled across, knowing nothing about commercial vehicles or logistics. The position seemed interesting and stimulating, and 22 years later and with a breadth of experience under my belt, it was the correct choice.
How would you encourage more young people into the industry?
We need to do more to promote the importance and forward thinking nature of the industry at schools and further education establishments, to dispel any preconceived negative opinions.
What will be the outlook for your sector of the market over the next 12 months?
With our investment in a 9-acre dedicated asset out-of servicing and sales centre in the Midlands, Ryder is well positioned to support current and new customers during a dynamic period of change.
