Construction specialist Kane Group has taken delivery of 11 new Volvo FM13 tippers, which will be used on heavy-duty muck shifting operations.

The St Albans, Herts-based company says the 8x4 trucks - all with a gross vehicle weight of 32 tonnes - are equipped with B-ride suspensions.

The tipper bodies are made out of heavy-gauge aluminium and include Harsh underfloor tipping gear.

Nine vehicles are painted in the livery of Kane Haulage, while two are in the colours of Kane Group demolition subsidiary GJ Gaywood.

Repair and maintenance will be carried out on a three-year contract by supplying dealer Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London, based in Radlett, Herts.

The vehicles, which will also carry sand and gravel, are equipped with PM Onboard weighing units and Transcover sheeting systems.
