Ken Thomas wins Brunner Mond contract

Ken Thomas Logistics - part of the Seafield Group - has won a three-year distribution and warehousing contract with Brunner Mond. The transport firm has had a long relationship with the chemical manufacturing business both are based in Northwich, Cheshire.

The decision followed a competitive tender process which also involved a leading third-party logistics (3PL) organisation. Brunner Mond makes products such as soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, calcium chloride and associated alkaline chemicals. It is wholly owned by Tata Chemicals, part of the Tata Group of India.
