Kitson joins DVSA as director of enforcement

The DVSA has appointed Marian Kitson as director of enforcement. Kitson, who will start on 10 September, joins from the HMRC compliance group, where she was assistant director.

DVSA chief executive Gareth Llewellyn said: “I’m delighted Marian will be joining us as our new director of enforcement. She has spent much of her career with HMRC, where she led customer compliance teams across the UK.”

Kitson said: “I can’t wait to get started and get to know the important work our dedicated staff do to protect people from unsafe drivers and vehicles.”
