Norbert Dentressangle tanker drivers call off further strike action

Norbert Dentressangle (ND) tanker drivers have halted a 24-hour proposed strike, scheduled for Monday 30 January, following an “improved offer” over pensions and terms and conditions, according to union Unite.Around 60 drivers working on ND’s Tesco and GP Chemicals contracts operating out of Runcorn, Cheshire, held a 24-hour strike on 16 January over the company’s proposed pensions changes, with a further three stoppages planned for 23 January, 30 January and 6 February.
