Lloyd Fraser wins five-year Milk Link deal

Lloyd Fraser Group has won a five-year contract to collect and distribute fresh milk for Milk Link.

The transport firm's operation will be based in Milborne St Andrew, Dorset, collecting from farms and distributing to Milk Link customer facilities in the south of England.

Milk Link is the UK's largest producer of cheese, and also manufactures creams and flavoured milks.

Keith Spencer, Lloyd Fraser divisional director, says: "To become their logistics contractor of choice in the Dorset area and to be able to expand with them in Southern England represents a significant opportunity for our group".

Bumper ASOS win boosts turnover at Transline Resource by 43%
A "bumper" contract win with ASOS has helped HGV driver agency Transline Resource to achieve a record turnover of £44m. Bibby scoops Honda UK transport deal
Liverpool-based Bibby Distribution has won a five-year transport contract renewal with Honda UK. Bibby will continue to manage next-day deliveries of Honda's motorcycles and power equipment goods until at least 2015, continuing a seven-year partnership between the companies. A dedicated fleet of 26t trucks will be used to collect products from Honda's Swindon factory.
