London 2012: More of the ORN to be deactivated from tonight

Transport for London is decommissioning more of the Olympic Route Network (ORN) from tonight, as the Olympics near their end.

ORN measures on the A406 North Circular Road, A40 Westway, Western Avenue, Old Oak Road, and Wales Farm Road will be deactivated this evening.

Decommissioning works will continue over the weekend, finishing on Sunday (12 August).

This Saturday will see the men's and women’s race walks taking place at the Mall, with a two kilometre loop in place taking in Constitution Hill and the Queen Victoria Memorial.

Sunday sees the men’s marathon take place, staring at 11am and taking place on the road event ORN.
