LTS Global Solutions has taken delivery of eight new DAF XG 530 FTG 6x2 tractor units as part of an ongoing fleet replacement programme.
The Coleshill-based operator said the latest additions are aimed at maintaining a modern and efficient fleet to support long-distance operations and continued business growth.
The trucks are specified for 44-tonne operation and powered by 530hp engines, with a 6x2 axle configuration suited to heavy haulage work. They also feature extended XG cabs designed to improve aerodynamics while increasing interior space and driver comfort.
Driver welfare has been a key focus, with the new vehicles fitted with leather seats, twin bunks and auxiliary cooling systems. Advanced safety technology includes mirror cam systems, corner view cameras, driver monitoring systems and a suite of features aligned with the latest European General Safety Regulations, such as lane departure warning and radar-assisted systems.
Dave Hands, MD at LTS Global Solutions, said the investment forms part of a broader strategy to scale the business.
"We’re continually investing in every area of the business to make sure we’re delivering the highest possible standards for our customers," Hands said.
"Bringing these new trucks into the fleet is another step forward, giving us the performance and efficiency we need while also providing a safer and more comfortable working environment for our drivers," he added.
