MV Commercial has supplied Bishop's Stortford-based Maclin Pumps with a new DAF CF450 6x2 Jet-Vac combination unit.

The new truck was supplied within just two weeks of the order being placed and gets a Clayton Vallely body with a 3,200-gallon vacuum tanker capacity.

The tank is split 50/50 between clean water and a debris compartment and will be used across the firm’s tanker and drainage division to remove wastewater and clean oil interceptors for both industry and domestic customers.

Mark Robson, director, Maclin Pumps, said: “We are witnessing a significant increase in demand for the service we provide and that necessitated adding a new vehicle to the fleet. Manufacturers were quoting lead times of at least 12 months, but MV Commercial was able to offer us the exact spec almost immediately.”

The truck came from MV’s Ready to Go fleet which holds a collection of specialist vehicles designed to anticipate upcoming market trends.
