MAN Truck & Bus UK has appointed two new members of staff to its branches in Scotland’s Grampian, Highlands and Islands region.
Andrew Rennie has been appointed to the role of area truck sales manager, while Calum McDonald takes on the truck sales executive role representing light, medium and heavy units.
Roger Turnbull, head of retail truck sales for MAN, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Andrew back into the MAN Truck & Bus UK fold. Andrew started his truck sales career with MAN in 1999 and after a seven year spell with another manufacturer he’s now back and we’re thrilled that he will be representing the brand once more.”
Prior to his appointment, Rennie worked as head of truck sales for BLS Truck & Van before returning to the rival German marque.
“It’s great to be back with MAN and to be given the opportunity to serve the brand once again throughout the region” stated Rennie. “I look forward to meeting with customers, promoting the brand once more, and extolling the many values they offer.”
McDonald’s career started in 2014, when he joined TOM Vehicle Rental as an administration apprentice, followed in 2016 by a position within MAN’s truck sales trainee programme as part of the Caledonian Truck & Van Sales network.
McDonald echoed Rennie’s sentiment: “This is a really exciting move for me and I’m looking forward to helping MAN gain a greater representation across the region. There is a real team ethos within the company which has been evident from day one.”
