Porsche has taken delivery of an MAN TGM 18.290 4x2 to deliver press test vehicles across the UK.
The truck, based at Porsche UK’s Reading headquarters, features a bespoke body from Belle Coachworks, a 12-speed Tipmatic gearbox and 6.9-litre 6-cylinder engine that produces 290hp.
It will also be part of an operation to transport customer Carerra GTs and 918 Spyders to the Porsche specialist service centre at Reading.
MAN sales executive Lee Stoddart said: “The MAN TGM is an excellent choice of vehicle for the Porsche team; it is manoeuvrable and perfect for making deliveries to the journalists’ homes or places of work.”
