We’re beginning a new week of Used Truck of the Day with a Mercedes-Benz Actros 2542, courtesy of Cambridgeshire based Power Engineering.
This 2013 model features a 6x2 axle config, sleeper cab and a 12 speed automatic gearbox.
The seller specifies that the truck can be modified for Africa as per the stock photos, to the new “MP4 Africa Spec”.
Other modifications can also be added including an additional fuel and water trap system, a heavy duty steel bumper bar also incorporating a radiator and sump guard for protection, the front suspension can be raised and stiffened and the engine can be de-rated to Euro-0.
