MEV (My Electric Vehicle) were showcasing their range of compact electric vehicles including cage tipper and box van versions.
The MEV Cargo is a fully electric van powered by a 7.5kW electric motor, with a 50 mile range and top speed of 50mph. Also available with an extended battery of up to 100 miles, the MEV Cargo has a payload of 300kg and a 1.65 cu m capacity with space for loads of up to 1.38m. It also gets a roller shutter door. Measuring just 3.15m in length, the MEV Cargo has been finding customers in wide range of businesses including several blue chip organisations according to My Electric Vehicle director Chris Kirk.
Standard features include electric windows, a panoramic sunroof, central locking, Bluetooth radio, park assist reversing camera and a reversing alert. Most notably for a small van in this segment, there’s also air conditioning.
Charging can be carried out using either a type 2 connector or a three-pin plug. Prices start from £18,354, and there’s even the option of a £1500 Trade Pack that includes a roof rack and pipe carrier.
