Daf dealer for Northern Ireland TBF Thompson has selected 315/70 R 22.5 steer and drive tyres from Michelin’s X Multi regional range as a factory-fitted option for its latest XF 510 demonstrator.
The 6x2 44-tonne tractor has a Super Space Cab and lightweight alloy wheels. Its 17.5in mini mid-lift axle - also equipped with Michelins - allowed the County Antrim dealer to fit the XF with increased capacity fuel tanks. TBF Thompson director Alan Espie said: “We want customers to experience the XF at its best, so we selected leather seats and a range of in-cab options for maximum driver comfort.
"We also chose premium Michelin tyres as original equipment. We will be looking to sell the XF in six months’ time, so selecting long-lasting tyres was a key consideration.”
