Middlesex haulage business First Call Logistics has entered liquidation after its biggest customer moved its business to the Midlands.

Liquidator Robert Day, appointed to the firm on 15 October, says he believes the Staines-based company, which had an O-licence for 10 vehicles and two trailers, would still be trading if it had not lost the electrical supplies delivery contract.

Day says another business, First Call (Heathrow), which shares the same address, director and transport manager, is not affected by the liquidation.

Day tells CM that the debts are thought to be £62,000, split between five creditors. Director Martin Cowie did not respond to calls.
