Morphy Richards takes delivery of trucks and trailers from Ryder

Ryder is supplying new customer Morphy Richards with a mix of trucks and trailers. 


The order from the domestic appliance supplier includes three Mercedes-Benz Actros 2543LS 44-tonners, a curtain-sided Daf CF220 18-tonner with tail-lift, a curtain-sided Daf LF150 with tail-lift, and four SDC trailers on five-year contract hire.The Actros tractors have PowerShift gearboxes, while the Dafs feature manual transmissions.

The vehicles will carry out deliveries to retailers across the UK from the Morphy Richards DC in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. Ryder is also supplying eight SDC skeletal trailers, which will be used to collect and return containers from UK rail ports.
