Movianto UK expands cold storage capacity at Bedford base

Movianto UK, the healthcare logistics specialist, has expanded its cold chain and narcotics handling facility at its Bedford base.

The company, which has 8 depots across the UK, has doubled its cold storage capacity to 4,500 pallet spaces, as well as installing a temperature-controlled loading and parking facility.

It has also upgraded security at the Bedford site to ensure the safety of the narcotics stored there ahead of transportation across the UK to clients such as the NHS.

MD Russell Atkinson says: "Our continued investment in the UK demonstrates our commitment to the market."
