MP Moran & Sons opts for improved visibility Renault Cs

MP Moran and Sons has taken delivery of four Renault Range Cs with glass-panels in their nearside doors, designed to improve the visibility of cyclists and other vulnerable road users.

The C320 6x2s have 2.3m day cabs and will be used to deliver building and plumbing supplies to sites within the M25 and to Luton from its Watford branch.

Supplied by Renault Trucks London, the vehicles join the builders’ merchant’s 50-strong fleet.

Renault said the enhanced safety features played a significant part in the operator’s decision to buy the vehicles.

Company director Martin Moran said: “We particularly like the nearside glass vision door which is a brilliant safety feature and crucial to driving in London as it really helps the drivers to see cyclists.”
